CASA KUDERNA
Original Architect: Craig Ellwood
Casa Kuderna House
Built in 1956, Casa Kuderna House is an authentically restored Craig Ellwood AIA Case Study home nestled in the hills of Studio City.
Staying true to the original mid-century structure, Casa Kuderna was restored by Philippe Naouri who commissioned Beacon Hill to assist with bringing this architectural gem back to life. With new sapele walls and doors, a reimagined master bedroom with built-in closet and doors, and a complete custom kitchen renovation, the main house was returned to its former glory. A new desk, built in the Ellwood style, an updated kitchenette, and a bathroom vanity, gave the upstairs studio a more cohesive and fresher modern take with that mid-century feel.
